Jersey City Jazz Festival
For two consecutive years, I was invited to develop key art for the Jersey City Jazz Festival, one of the largest festivals in the tri-state area. The festival is produced by Riverview Jazz, a Jersey City–based 501(c)(3) non-profit that creates free, community-focused performances in collaboration with local organizations, businesses, government, and artists.

Syncopated Color
Working with the vibrant, abstract paintings of Jim LePage, the concept brought bursts of color to downtown Jersey City and Jersey Heights to celebrate the Jazz Festival at Exchange Place Plaza. I developed key brand assets for print and digital channels, including posters, collateral, large-format banners, stage scrims, brochures, postcards, step-and-repeat banners, and commemorative shirts.
Rooted in the Community
Known to locals as Jersey “Gritty”, the festival’s identity celebrates Jersey City’s wheat-paste artist culture, which has shaped the city over the past 20 years. The creative direction brought together an eclectic ensemble of jazz in an urban environment, capturing the undiluted character of the community. I designed key brand assets, from out-of-home posters and billboards to merchandise and promotional materials.
